A few helpful answers.
What furniture does Burrland sell?
Pre-owned solid-wood furniture, including both hardwoods such as oak and softwoods such as pine. We exclude laminate-finished, veneered, MDF and chipboard furniture.
Does Burrland own the furniture?
Yes. Our launch collection is furniture we have bought outright, inspected and photographed ourselves.
How do I sell to Burrland?
Send photographs, measurements, condition details and your location using the Sell Your Furniture form. If the piece suits the collection, we discuss an outright purchase offer. Payment, inspection and collection or drop-off arrangements are agreed before you commit.
Do you charge commission or storage fees?
No. We buy agreed pieces outright. You do not pay commission or storage fees, and your agreed purchase price does not depend on when we resell the furniture.
Can I view a piece first?
Yes, at the garage by appointment. Send a viewing request through the website; we’ll confirm a time and the visit details with you.
Can you deliver?
Yes. Standard local delivery is £60 and Premium is £120 within 30 miles, for one order to one address in one van trip. Collection by appointment is free. Longer journeys and unusual requirements are quoted individually.
How do I buy a piece?
Browse the collection and send an enquiry from the product page. We confirm availability, answer your questions and agree the purchase and fulfilment details with you. Online payment is not currently available.
How long do I have to collect?
Within 10 calendar days of purchase. You can request a free four-day extension in advance, subject to space. If Burrland cancels for non-collection after that agreed extension, you receive a full refund.
Do I need an account?
No. You can browse, enquire, request a viewing or submit furniture without an account. An optional account keeps your signed-in enquiries together.
